Mysuru: Clarifying that they are not against any caste or culture, Mahisha Dasara organisers asserted that their opposition to MP Pratap Simha was only against his unilateral thinking and certainly not a personal one.
Addressing a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here this morning, former Mayor Purushotham, who also headed Mahisha Dasara Acharana Samiti, said that their opposition to Mahisha Dasara should not be politicised. Asserting that they were not against Vokkaliga or any other community, Purushotham said their fight was not against Vokkaliga community but was against the opposition to Mahisha Dasara.
