Mangaluru - State JD(S) President and former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy has alleged that the waste dumped by the Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudranalaya at Shyadanahalli near Belavatha caused the death of Harshal.

Speaking to reporters in Mangaluru this morning, Kumaraswamy said that the RBI Note Press uses various inks and chemicals to produce currency notes. “As per procedures, the chemical waste must be treated before being let out to any open area. But I have got reports that the RBI authorities dump the waste beyond its campus without treating them,” he alleged.
