As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 'Walk for Country' walkathon has been organised on Aug. 14 starting from Shaktinagar Park on Rajkumar Road at 10 am. The participants will cover Vidyashankarnagar, Teachers Layout, Cauvery Circle, Rajkumar Road, JSS Nagar and come back to the starting point. Men and women in the age group of 40-60 may take part in the walkathon. All participants will be given cloth bags for free.
