As part of World Breastfeeding Month, Motherhood Hospital, Mysuru, has organised a Walkathon from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple in city on Aug. 20 at 7 am. This event will bring together individuals, families and organisations to celebrate the benefits of breastfeeding and to promote its importance to the wider public.

Trishikha Kumari Wadiyar will be the chief guest. Over 500 people will take part in the event to emphasise WHO theme “Enabling Breastfeeding for Parents!” College students, women’s groups, members of Inner Wheel Club of Mysore West, Rotary Club of Mysore West, Karnataka State Obstetrics & Gynaecology Association (KSOGA) will participate. The walkathon will pass through Chamaraja Wadiyar Circle, Hardinge Circle and end at starting point.
