The Department of Health and Family Welfare is recruiting nine Medical Officers (General Duty) for vacant posts at Primary Health Centres (PHC) and Health Extension Centres (HEC) in Mysuru district through direct interview. The selected candidates will be paid a consolidated salary of Rs.45,000 per month with a special allowance of Rs.2,000 in PHCs and only Rs.45,000 at HECs. Five posts are open for general category and four reserved for SC/ST. The candidates should have passed MBBS with completion of Housemanship. The age limit is 42 years for general category, 45 for OBC and 47 for SC/ST. The selected doctors will be allowed to work for one year or till a regular doctor is appointed whichever is earlier. Eligible candidates with all necessary documents should appear for a walk-in interview on May 13 at 10.30 am at DHO’s office, Nazarbad, Mysuru-570010. .
