Mysuru: More than 300 students from various engineering colleges across the city staged a demonstration in front of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Mysuru Regional Office near Sathagalli Bus Stand, here yesterday demanding re-introduction of the carry-over system.
The students abstained from classes for the day to take part in the agitation. Claiming that the withdrawal of carry-over system and the abnormal hike in fees had badly hurt them, the students urged the VTU authorities to address the issues at the earliest.
