The Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Mysuru, has invited applications from youths for appointment as volunteers of National Youth Force, an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The Kendra proposes to appoint a total of 16 volunteers — 2 each from 7 taluks of the district and 2 as Computer Operators.
The youths must be in the age group of 18 to 29 years as on April 1, 2017 and must possess minimum educational qualification of a pass in tenth standard. Youths pursuing education and those who had served as volunteers earlier are not eligible to apply.
