Bengaluru: Amidst reports of over 25 students appearing for the ongoing SSLC examinations testing positive for COVID-19, Primary and Secondary Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar has said that though a couple of students appearing for the exams have been found infected, these cases did not spread from examination centres.
The exam began last week and on the first day, the Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board recorded a 98.3 percent student attendance. The attendance fell to 97.90 percent on Saturday as per KSEEB Director.
