Mysore/Mysuru: A village accountant has been accused of issuing a false death certificate of a man who died in an accident in 2018.
According to a complaint lodged on Oct. 25, 2021 by one T.R. Narendra, a resident of Talakad in T. Narasipur taluk, his (Narendra) father T. Rangegowda met with a road accident opposite CESC Office at Talakad on the afternoon of Dec. 7, 2018 in which he sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Cauvery Heart and Multi-Speciality Hospital, Mysuru, for treatment. But he succumbed to injuries the following day (Dec. 8) and accordingly, the jurisdictional Mysuru City Coporation (MCC) issued the death certificate mentioning the date of death of his father Rangegowda as Dec. 8, 2018.
