A five-wicket haul by leg-spinner Priyal Singh (5 for 28), helped Karnataka to register a big innings and 205-run win over Puducherry on the second-day of the South Zone Round V - Vijay Merchant Trophy U-16 Tournament played at the SDNR Wadiyar Grounds here yesterday. Resuming at their overnight score of 184 for 2, Karnataka helped by a brilliant 150 n.o. (15x4, 1x6) by skipper Smaran, scored 380 for 4 decl. in 77.4 overs. In the second innings, Puducherry were bowled out for 91 in 23 overs, which helped the hosts to a big win.
