Mysuru: Over 300 industrialists from Mysuru took part in a “Road Show” at Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) in Hebbal Industrial Area this morning. The event was held as part of ‘Invest Karnataka: Vendor Development & Investor Summit-2017’ that will be held at Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre on Nov. 23 and 24. The Road Show was organised by District Industries Centres (DIC) of Mysuru, Chamarajanagar and Kodagu, along with Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association. Representatives from 300 micro, small and medium and large industries took part in the Road Show. The Bengaluru Meet will focus on Aerospace, Defence, Automobiles, Pharmaceuticals, Textiles and Innovation. It is aimed to provide a platform for enterprises to showcase their capabilities to various OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers). There would be Buyer-Seller Meets, Business-to-Business, Business-to-Consumer and Business-to-Government meetings. Today’s Road Show was inaugurated by Mysuru District Minster Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa in the presence of Minister for Small Industries and Sugar Dr. Geetha Mahadevaprasad, MLA Vasu, who is also the President of Mysuru Industries Association (MIA), former CII Chairman and Wholetime Director of Automotive Axles Dr. N. Muthukumar, Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association President C.R. Hanumanthegowda and Senior Vice-President of Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sudhakar S. Shetty and DIC Joint Director H. Ramakrishnegowda.
