Mysuru: The citizens of Mysuru are a worried lot as vegetable prices continue to soar during this summer season. However, the price of beans which hovered around Rs. 100 a kilo in the past week, saw a little slump with the vegetable being sold at Rs. 80 per kg in city markets today.
As far as the rest of the vegetables are concerned, peas was being sold at Rs. 120-140 a kg, green chilli at Rs. 60 a kg, seeme badane at Rs. 50 a kg, carrot and Tomato Rs. 30-40 a kg and beetroot around 30 a kg.
