Mysore/Mysuru: Senior performing artistes, Vidu. J. Yogavandana and Vid. Balu Masti will be presenting a special Veena duet at the heritage house of Mysore Vasudevacharya in the city on Oct. 1 (Saturday) between 10.30 am and 1 pm. They will be accompanied by Vid. H.L. Shivashankaraswamy on mridanga and Vid. Raghunandan Rao on ghata. The concert at the Acharya's house is open to all music enthusiasts.
Profile:Yogavandana is a disciple of senior Veena Vidwan V.S. Anantha Rao of Andhra Pradesh. An A-Top graded artiste of AIR and Doordarshan, she has performed in National programmes and in the prestigious Akashavani Sangeetha Sammelana. She has been invited to render performances all over the Southern States and as an empanelled artiste of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), she has toured several countries for performances.
