Mysuru: Urging to make Folklore a subject in PU and Degree, the members of Karnataka Janapada Jagruti Vedike staged a protest in front of the DC’s office here on Monday.
The protesters said that folklore was the root of all subjects and hence awareness should be created on it. They further said that they have been submitting memorandums to the State Government since many years urging to introduce Folklore as a subject and regretted that the State Government had not considered their pleas.
