Mysore/Mysuru: Indian woman cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy demonstrated her ongoing commitment to wildlife conservation by renewing her adoption of a leopard at the Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, also known as Mysuru Zoo. Yesterday, Veda donated Rs. 50,000 to adopt Bhavana, a female leopard, for another year.
This marks the continuation of Veda’s support for the conservation efforts at the Zoo. Back in 2017, she initially adopted the Indian Leopard by paying an adoption fee of Rs. 35,000 for one year. Since then, Veda has consistently renewed her adoption annually, showcasing her dedication to the cause of wildlife protection.
