Mysuru: It was a special day for the famous Sri Lakshmivenkataramana Swamy Temple (Srinivasa Temple) on KRS Road, Vontikoppal, in city, as the presiding deity, was adorned with diamond studded Vajrangi today.
The Vajrangi has been donated by the city's MBC Pvt. Ltd. The Vajrangi was designed by city's Lalitha Jewellery Mart, which had engaged skilled workers from Thanjavur for meticulous crafting. The deity will be adorned with Vajrangi only on special days that are decided by the Temple Trust, according to the Temple authorities.
