Vaikunta Ekadashi at Ganapathy Ashrama

Uttara Dhwara (Northern Gate) of Sri Datta Venkateshwara Temple at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama on Ooty Road in Datta Nagar here, will be opened on Jan.6, being observed as Vaikunta Ekadashi Day. Vaikunta Ekadasi is one of the important and auspicious day for Hindus. Uttara Dwara is opened once in a year and only on Vaikunta Ekadashi day. Every year, a large number of devotees visit Sri Datta Venkateshwara Temple in Ganapathy Ashrama on Vaikunta Ekadasi day. The timings of the Temple are extended to facilitate the devotees and general public on this day. Uttara Dwara of the Temple will be kept open from 5.30 am to 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm to 9.30 pm, on Monday. The devotees may have darshan of Lord Datta Venkateshwara and seek the blessings.
