Venugopal, who took part in the ITF Women's Futures Tennis tournament held at Namangan, Uzbekistan yesterday, lost her Women's Singles second round tie against Russia's Ksenia Lykina. Ksenia beat Dhruthi 7-6 (3), 6-3 and entered quarter-finals in the Women's Singles event. In the Women's Doubles, Sabina Sharipova & Valeria Strakhova of Uzbekistan beat Dhruthi T. Venugopal & Kyra Shroff 6-4, 6-3 and entered the semi-finals.
