Mysore/Mysuru: South Western Railway (SWR), Mysuru Division, has appealed rail passengers to increasingly adopt digital platforms such as the RailOne Mobile App for booking railway tickets and availing passenger-related services.
By using the RailOne App for unreserved ticket booking, passengers can avail an instant 3% discount from Jan 14 to July 14, 2026, in addition to enjoying the convenience of quick, secure and paperless transactions.
Passengers are advised to actively use digital applications for booking reserved and unreserved tickets, platform tickets, checking train information and accessing other passenger amenities.
Increased adoption of digital ticketing will help significantly reduce congestion at ticket counters, minimize last-minute rush, and avoid inconvenience arising out of long queues or counter-related issues, especially during peak travel periods.
By choosing digital modes of ticketing and services, passengers also become active participants in the Government of India’s flagship “Digital India” programme, contributing towards a more efficient, transparent and passenger-friendly railway system.
Mysuru Division urges all passengers to make maximum use of digital railway applications like RailOne and support Indian Railways in its journey towards smart and seamless travel.
