Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court passed an order directing the State Government to use the terms ‘Codavaru’ and ‘Codavas’ instead of ‘Kodagaru’ in its nomenclature while referring to people from the Codava community in all Government notifications.
The order was passed in response to a petition filed by Codava National Council (CNC).
