Mysuru: Members of Researchers Association, University of Mysore (UoM), staged a protest near Crawford Hall recently demanding that the applications of all Other Backward Classes (OBC) research students, who had applied for scholarship, be accepted and given scholarships.
"Of the 21 students who applied for scholarships during the academic year 2024-25, only 12 have been approved. The Administrative Board has rejected 9 applications by citing unacceptable reasons," they alleged.
