University of Mysore (UoM) is offering application-oriented interdisciplinary technology-oriented M.Tech course in Materials Science sponsored by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The course is open for B.E/MBBS/B.Tech /B.Pharma/BDS/ B.Sc (Ag), M.Sc. and any B.Sc. degree holders. The total number of seats is 30 — 15 seats will be allotted to scheme ‘A’ and remaining 15 to Scheme B’. The curriculum will be taught by senior Professors from Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Polymer Science and Earth Science Departments. The course is run at Vijnana Bhavan in Manasagangothri. The University has established this unique Centre equipped with all the sophisticated instruments required for teaching and research in Materials Science and Nanotechnology.
