The University of Mysore (UoM) in order to promote more students to take up sports activity and to encourage sports persons have increased the Sports Scholarship amount to Rs.3,000 to outstanding sports persons studying in the University. Earlier the scholarship amount was Rs.2,500.
The University has also called for applications from sports persons who have represented the University in the Inter-University Tournaments during the academic year 2018-19, for the scholarship.
