Mysuru: University of Mysore (UoM) Alumni Association (UMAA) is felicitating three achievers — UoM Vice- Chancellor Prof. G. Hemantha Kumar, former VC Prof. K.S. Rangappa and retired Professor Mewa Singh — tomorrow (Apr. 11) at Rani Bahadur Auditorium, Manasagangothri at 4 pm.
Prof. Hemantha Kumar is being honoured on assuming the office of Vice-Chancellor and his contribution to education while Prof. Rangappa is being honoured for being elected General President of Indian Science Congress Association and his contribution to Science and Prof. Mewa Singh for being awarded ‘Science and Engineering Research Board Distinguished Fellowship’ and his contribution to Life Science.
