Bengaluru: Following closure of Schools and Colleges due to Covid-19 second wave, unaided Private School teachers, who have been facing financial crisis, went in a delegation led by Primary and Secondary Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar to meet Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa and sought special economic package.
In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister, it was stated that due to the financial crunch many educational institutions closed after Covid-19 first wave and now second wave. Even the parents refused to pay the fees, therefore the management found it difficult to handle the situation and not pay the salaries.
