Mysuru: The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), which at last got recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) last month to run 17 non-technical courses for a period of five years from 2018-19 to 2022-23, is likely to get recognition for the remaining 15 Open Distance Learning (ODL) courses within a week, said KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. D. Shivalingaiah.
Speaking to Star of Mysore in this regard yesterday, he said that he along with Registrar Ramesh and UGC Coordinator Dr. N.G. Raju had gone to New Delhi on Tuesday and in the meeting there apprised the authorities regarding the facilities to run the remaining 15 courses.
