U.N. Shekar (67), an agriculturist and a resident of Basavanagudi here, who was undergoing treatment for illness at a private hospital, died at the hospital on Sunday after failing to respond to the treatment. He leaves behind his wife, a daughter, brother U.N. Padhmarabharao, social worker and a first grade contractor and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the burial grounds on the banks of River Kapila.
