Mysore/Mysuru: Railway Board will operate two-trip special express train between Mysuru and Tuticorin to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Christmas and new year.
Train No. 06283 Mysuru-Tuticorin Express Special will leave Mysuru at 6.35 pm on Dec. 23 & Dec. 27 (Tuesday & Saturday) and reach Tuticorin at 11 am the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 06284 Tuticorin-Mysuru Express Special will leave Tuticorin at 2 pm on Dec. 24 & Dec. 28 (Wednesday & Sunday) and reach Mysuru at 7.45 am the next day.
En route, special train will stop at Mandya, Maddur, Channapatna, Ramanagara, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Contt., Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudunagar, Satur, Kovilpatti & Tuti Melur Stations.
The special train will run with 18 coaches — one AC 2-tier, two AC 3-tier, nine Sleeper Class, four General Second Class and two Second Class-cum-Luggage Brake Van/ Divyangjan.
