Rs. 3.3 lakh demonetised notes seized
Mysuru: K.R. Police have arrested two persons, who had banned currencies worth Rs. 3.3 lakh and have seized the demonetised currencies. The arrested persons have been identified as 31-year-old Kalandar and 36-year-old Rizwan of Madikeri. The Police have seized 350 notes of the banned Rs. 500 and 128 notes of Rs. 1,000 from them. The Police have suspected that the accused used to exchange the banned currencies with Dollars from foreigners in a bid to cheat them.
