Mysuru: A two-day ‘Career awareness workshop for persons with disability,’ jointly organised by University of Mysore’s Drushti — Centre for Education of Visually-Challenged and Enable India’s Empowerment Cell for Inclusion of Persons with Disability (an initiative by Enable India and JSS PDA, Mysuru), was held at Vignyan Bhavan auditorium in Manasagangothri recently.
Prof. C. Ponnuswamy, former faculty of Political Science, Bangalore University, inaugurated the workshop. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the workshop was aimed at educating persons with disability on knowing their rights and positioning themselves into a strong position to land their dream career.
