Mysuru: The Department of Prevention of Communication Disorders (POCD) is conducting a two-day seminar on 'Ageing and Elderly Care on Communication Disorder: Strategic Guidelines' at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Naimisham Campus, Manasagangothri, on Jan.10 and 11.
The main objectives of the seminar is to educate the public regarding age-related changes in the body that could eventually lead to communication disorders, to spread awareness on the prevention, early identification and management of these, and to provide practical guidelines to live a socially healthy and sound life.
