Mysuru: The Community College and Post-Graduate Department of Commerce, Teresian College, Mysuru, have organised the UGC-sponsored two-day National Seminar on “Emerging Trends in Accounting and Taxation” on Apr. 20 and 21 at Ave Maria Golden Jubilee Auditorium, Teresian College premises, Bannur Road, Siddarthanagar. It will be inaugurated on Thursday at 9.15 am.
Accounting and taxation education needs to be holistic, targeted and customised with the aim to remove the gap that exists in traditional and modem practices. This seminar tries to provide a wide range of information on various topics like XBRL, IFRS and GST. The seminar will benefit students, research scholars and teachers of UG, PG and Community Colleges. Registration can be done on Apr. 20 at 8.30 am at the venue.
