Mysuru: The Karnataka State Tribal Research Institute, Mysuru, will hold a two-day national seminar on ‘Tribal Livelihood in India - Challenges and Opportunities’ from Sept. 25 at Administrative Training Institute (ATI) in Nazarbad.
The seminar aims to bring various stakeholders like academicians, policy makers, officials, programme administrators, representatives of civil society, scheduled tribe representatives, NGOs, social development activists and practitioners to debate and discuss about the tribal livelihood in India. The seminar attempts to focus on these issues theoretically as well as empirically.
