Mysuru: The two-day Mysuru District Track and Field Meet 2018, conducted by the Mysore District Athletics Association (MDAA), under the aegis of the Karnataka Athletic Association (KAA), got off to a grant start at Chamundi Vihar Stadium here this morning. Around 1,500 athletes from all over the district in the U-14, U-16, U-20, men and women sections are taking part in the Meet. The Meet will be the selection trials for the Karnataka Junior and Senior Athletic Meet-2018 and Inter-District National Athletic Meet-2018 to be held in November and December 2018.
