Mysore/Mysuru: A two-day international conclave of clean fuels - 2022, organised by the National Institute of Engineering (NIE) in collaboration with German organisations Tec4Fuels and OWI- Science for Fuels, was inaugurated at a private resort in city yesterday. The conclave was inaugurated by Y.B. Ramakrishna, expert and member of Bio-Fuel working Committee, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.
Speaking after inaugurating the conclave, Ramakrishna said that in these days of increased fuel consumption, the Union Government was on a mission of providing alternatives and in this connection was organising many seminars under ‘National Bio-Tech Fuel Policy-2018,’ which is in pursuit of Technical Development, new ideas and new policies. “For the first time, a conclave is being held outside Delhi, to create awareness among investors and people of the southern region. NIE is organising this two day conclave which is beneficial to the fuel industry as well as the general public,” he added.
