Mysuru: Close on the heels of six elephants dying due to electrocution near Virajpet in Kodagu recently, another incident of an elephant being electrocuted was reported from Bommanahalli in Gundlupet coming under Kundakere Forest Range of Bandipur, this morning. The Forest officials, who conducted mahazar, said that the male elephant, which came in search of food, came in contact with the electric fence illegally-installed in the farm belonging to Nagaraja and died. The Forest sleuths have booked a case are in search of the accused land owner, who is at large.
