Bengaluru: Nagesh Hegde, former Assistant Editor of Prajavani, who writes on environment and science topics and Gangadhara Hiregutti, Editor, Karavali Munjavu, have been selected for the prestigious TSR Memorial Award and Mohare Hanamantharaya Memorial Award respectively for the year 2016 given by the State Government. An Expert Committee, headed by former Judge Indrakala, announced the Awards yesterday. The awards, carrying a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh and a citation each, will be presented during a function to be organised shortly.
