Mysuru: Following a call given by Federation of Karnataka Lorry Owners Association and All India Confederation of Goods Vehicle Owners Association, the Mysuru District Truckers Association will launch an indefinite lorry strike from June 18 in protest against rising diesel prices and other issues concerning lorry owners.
Addressing a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here this morning, the Mysuru District Truckers Association President N. Srinivas Rao said that the lorry strike has been called to protest against increasing diesel prices, abnormal hike in third party insurance premium and exorbitant toll on Highways.
