Hunsur: A 16-wheel truck fell into a roadside ditch after the driver lost control of the vehicle when the truck’s axel broke near Bilikere Junction on Hunsur-Mysuru National Highway – 275 on Monday afternoon.
The truck, carrying tiles from Andhra Pradesh to Mangaluru, hit the small bridge after the driver failed to see the road hump installed in front of a hotel at Bilikere junction resulting in him losing control of the truck. After the truck hit the small bridge, the its axel broke and the wheels detached following which the truck fell into a roadside ditch.
