Mysuru: ‘Nadabrahma tadaanandam adviteeyam upaasmahe,’ I praise Naadabrahma which itself is the ultimate bliss. Saptaswara which is the base of Shastriya Sangeetha derived from the pranava OM kaara, connects a man to his soul. Such divine art in the form of Dasarapada through saint poets reached to every common man. One such saint poet was Kanakadasa. Nadavidyalaya -  Academy of Music and Dance, in its ‘Nadopasana,’ celebration of 11th annual day, paid a tribute to the great soul through Sangeetha-Roopaka ‘Kanakadasamrutha.’

Nadopasana began with Shankha nada followed by  invocation song ‘Gajamukha vandisuve’ on Lord Ganesha. The programme was inaugurated by Sangeetha Sevanidhi K.S.N. Prasad, Guru Vid. M.S. Naveen,  Guru Vidu. Mithra Naveen. Later chief guest K.S.N. Prasad took few minutes to enlighten the students through his talk. Soon after which pillari geethe, sanchari geethe and nottuswara were presented on keyboard and vocal by sub-junior / junior students of Nadavidyalaya. Master Yeashas N. Kashyap accompanied them on flute.
