Mysuru: A one-day training workshop on New Pension Scheme, for disbursement and withdrawal officers and staff was held at Sthree Shakti Bhavan in Vijayanagar here recently.
Speaking at the workshop, District Treasury Deputy Director Sukanya said that only one token must be used for one particular bill in transactions. But it is often found that only one token is used for multiple bills. It is also found that sometimes wrong token numbers were used for bills, she said. Pointing out that recording wrong token numbers will disenable transfer of funds, Sukanya stressed on the need for caution in the use of token numbers. Resource person Krishnananda Byndoor explained on issues such as investment in New Pension Scheme, Fund Transfer, Government grants, Fund withdrawal, etc.
