Mysuru: Prof. D.G. Rao, Director, Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru, inaugurated the five-day training-cum-workshop on Testing and Evaluation and question Item Writing for the Assistant Professors and School Teachers of Kannada and Tamil working in Universities, Colleges and Schools in South India on June 17. The workshop was organised by the National Testing Service-India (NTS-I) at CIIL.
In his presidential remarks, Prof. Rao stated that a teacher must be exposed to the state-of-the-art methods and techniques to assess their students’ learning outcome, competence, and cognitive-motor abilities for the purpose of fair assessment and evaluation.
