Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Department (SDEL) and Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC) in association with Spoorthy Performance Solutions (SPS), Mysuru under Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP) Scheme has implemented Nano Entrepreneurship Programme (NEP) for budding entrepreneurs to train them from grassroot level and guide them to achieve their goals. NEP is an innovative programme by the Government to help the upcoming entrepreneurs to develop and learn skills, also gain business knowledge.

The training programme identifies low-level entrepreneurs and encourages them to provide special opportunity for women entrepreneurs. The training is imparted by experienced mentors in various fields. The training programme will be free of cost. The Government will not provide any subsidy to start a business under this programme.
