Due to reconstruction of the old bridge at Nanjangud town, the District Administration, following reports from NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) and the District Police, has banned movement of all types of traffic on old bridge. As an alternative, the motorists are required to travel on the new bridge until the completion of the reconstruction of old bridge or until further orders, according to a press release issued by Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) G. Lakshmikanth Reddy.
