Mysuru: As the works pertaining to laying of pipelines has to be undertaken on Princess Road , traffic has been banned on the said route and motorists are advised to take alternative route to reach their destinations. Pipeline works will be undertaken from VVWW water storage unit junction to Akashavani junction and continuing till VVWW on Vivekananda Road. Hence, motorists travelling on Princess Road from Swami Vivekananda Statue to Akashavani Circle should travel from Swami Vivekananda Junction to Kalidasa Road and pass via Cheluvamba Park North side road to touch Akashavani Circle and move further, according to City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao.
