Mysore/Mysuru: Traders of Devaraja Market have ruled out the possibility of spike in prices of onion following reports of damage to the crop due to floods.
G. Anand, onion trader at Devaraja Market, told SOM that since there is uninterrupted supply from local farmers, the question of increase in prices does not arise. At present, it is sold at Rs. 25 per kg for big size onion, Rs. 12-15 for medium and small size in the markets.
