Mysore/Mysuru: The toll collection on Mysuru-Nanjangud and Mysuru-Kollegal Highways that was temporarily suspended after a few Toll Plaza staff from Bengaluru tested positive for COVID-19 a couple of weeks ago, has now resumed.
The toll collection at Mysuru-Nanjangud Road Toll Plaza set up near K.N. Hundi Village and at Mysuru-T. Narasipur-Kollegal Road Toll Plaza set up near Gargeshwari, was stopped in the second week of July after some employees of both the Toll Plazas tested COVID-19 positive while on duty. As such, the vehicles plying on these roads travelled without paying any toll till now.
