To address the grievances of tobacco growers in Mysuru district, Tobacco Board has convened a meeting on March 2, said Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar. In a press release, the MP stated that the meeting convened at his bidding, will discuss about the prevailing crisis over falling prices in purchasing tobacco and other issues.
The Tobacco Board Chairman, its Executive Director, Indian Tobacco Company (ITC) higher ups and heads of prominent tobacco procuring companies will be attending the meeting, the press release said.
