Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddharamaiah yesterday urged his Uttar Pradesh counterpart Yogi Adityanath to order a thorough probe by an ‘efficient agency’ into the death of Karnataka cadre IAS officer Anurag Tiwari. In his letter to Adityanath, Siddharamaiah said that the circumstances leading to Tiwari’s death should be thoroughly investigated by a competent team of investigators.
Speaking to press persons here yesterday, Siddharamaiah dismissed BJP leaders claims that Anurag Tiwari had unearthed a multi-crore scam in the Food and Civil Supplies Department.
