Mysore/Mysuru: Fire was reported in three to four places in city yesterday and swift action by the Fire and Emergency Services Department prevent major fire mishaps from taking place.
An accidental fire to dry grass at a vacant place in Hebbal Industrial Area resulted in dry leaves catching fire and swift action by the Fire staff prevented fire from spreading further. Meanwhile, tension prevailed for some time near Vijayanagar Water Tank as fire was noticed at an ATM. Also, panic gripped the residents of Sharadadevi Nagar following LPG leakage. Fire staff arrived and prevented any untoward incident from taking place.
